''Businessman'' is the feature film soundtrack of the 2012 crime-action film of the same name starring Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film's music and background score was composed by S. Thaman marking his first collaboration with him and Thaman's second collaboration with Mahesh Babu after ''Dookudu'' (2011). The official soundtrack album consists of 6 songs composed by S. Thaman and Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar penning the lyrics. Being recorded in 2011, the film's soundtrack album was launched on 21 December 2011 in a grand promotional event at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad on Aditya Music label. Haricharan Seshadri, known mononymously as Haricharan (born 20 March 1987), is an Indian Carnatic vocalist, playback singer, and musician who predominantly works in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu music and cinema. He sung 2000 songs in films, albums etc. He recorded his first Tamil film song for the film ''Kaadhal'', in Joshua Sridhar's music when he was 17, and went on to record three songs in his debut movie.
