Buryatia, officially the Republic of Buryatia (russian: Республика Бурятия, r=Respublika Buryatiya, p=rʲɪsˈpublʲɪkə bʊˈrʲætʲɪjə; bua, Буряад Улас, Buryaad Ulas, , mn, Буриад Улс, Buriad Uls), is a Republics of Russia, republic of Russia located in Siberia. It is the historical native land of indigenous Buryats. Formerly part of the Siberian Federal District, it has been a part of the Far Eastern Federal District, Russian Far East since 2018. Anthem Of The Republic Of Buryatia
The state anthem of the Republic of Buryatia, is one of the state symbols of Buryatia, together with the flag and coat of arms of the Russian federal subject. It was first used unofficially for the Buryat Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, between 1983 and 1990 titled "Song of the Native Land", with original lyrics in Russian. The anthem was written by Buryat poet Damba Zhalsarayev, while the music was composed by Buryat composer and music teacher Anatoliy Andreyev. The People's Khural of the Republic of Buryatia (russian: Народный хурал Республики Бурятия, Narodny khural Respubliki Buryatiya; bua, Буряад Уласай Арадай Хурал, Buryaad Ulasay Araday Khural, ) is the regional parliament of Buryatia, a federal subject of Russia. Its 66 deputies are popularly elected every five years. Half of the deputies are elected through a proportional system, and the other half are elected in single-member constituencies with majorities. Independent deputies are self-nominated. Elections are called by the People's Khural at least three months before the expiration of terms of deputies. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities. Siberian Federal District (russian: Сиби́рский федера́льный о́круг, ''Sibirsky federalny okrug'') is one of the eight federal districts of Russia.
