Burton D. Patrick
Burton DeWayne Patrick (born October 11, 1935) is a retired lieutenant general in the United States Army. He is a former commander of the 101st Airborne Division. During the Vietnam War, he was Special Forces Advisor to the 42nd Vietnamese Ranger Battalion. Early life and education The son of Walter and Ruby McElreath Patrick, Patrick was born in Fickling, Georgia on October 11, 1935. Patrick graduated from North Georgia College, now part of the University of North Georgia, at which time he received his Army commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC). He also received his master's degree from Shippensburg University. He married Patricia (Compton) Patrick and they had one son, Burton DeWayne Patrick, Jr, and one granddaughter, Caitlin Patrick. Gander, Newfoundland And Labrador
Gander is a town located in the northeastern part of the island of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, approximately south of Gander Bay, south of Twillingate and east of Grand Falls-Windsor. Located on the northeastern shore of Gander Lake, it is the site of Gander International Airport, once an important refuelling stop for transatlantic aircraft. The airport is still a preferred emergency landing point for aircraft facing on-board medical or security issues. Thomson (originally called Slashes) is a city in McDuffie County, Georgia, McDuffie County, Georgia (U.S. state), Georgia, United States. The population was 6,778 at the 2010 census. The city is the county seat of McDuffie County. Thomson's nickname is "The Camellia City of the South", in honor of the thousands of camellia plants throughout the city.
