"Burn" is a song by Irish pop group Industry, the follow-up single to the debut chart-topper "My Baby's Waiting". "Burn" also reached number one on the Irish Singles Chart on 27 August 2009, staying at the top for one week, thus cutting the six week long streak of the Black Eyed Peas' "I Gotta Feeling" at the top of the Irish chart. "I Gotta Feeling" then regained the top position on the chart after the one week by Industry. "Burn" spent a total of just two weeks on the Irish Singles Chart. Industry were a pop group formed in Ireland in 2009. The band comprised Donal Skehan, Morgan Deane, Michele McGrath and Briton Lee Hutton. Industry made their recording debut in 2009 under the independent record label MIG Live, and broke up in 2010. The band had two number 1 hits in the Irish Singles Chart with their debut single " My Baby's Waiting" (25 June 2009 chart) and follow up "Burn" (27 August 2009 chart) Members Lee Hutton Lee Andrew Hutton is an English singer-songwriter musician, born in Chesterfield. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. A new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by the Irish Recorded Music Association on Friday at noon. Each chart is dated with the "week-ending" date of the previous Thursday (i.e., the day before issue). The singles chart was first published on 1 October 1962, and covered the top ten singles of the previous week by record label shipments.
