Districts Of Kenya
Sub-counties are the decentralised units through which county governments of Kenya will provide functions and services. Except for the parts which fall under urban areas, sub-counties will coincide with the constituencies created under article 89 of the Constitution of Kenya. Sub-counties will be headed by a sub-county administrator, appointed by a County Public Service Board. Under the former Constitution of Kenya, the Provinces of Kenya were subdivided into a number of districts (''wilaya''). Rift Valley Province, Kenya
Rift Valley Province ( sw, Mkoa wa Bonde la Ufa) of Kenya, bordering Uganda, was one of Kenya's eight provinces, before the Kenyan general election, 2013. Rift Valley Province was the largest and one of the most economically important provinces in Kenya. It was dominated by the Kenya Rift Valley which passes through it and gives the province its name. According to the 2009 Census, the former province covered an area of and would have had a population of 10,006,805, making it the largest and most populous province in the country. Litein
Litein is a town located in the Kericho County, Kenya. It was previously the capital of the former Buret District. Litein has an urban population of 4,000. The town is along the Kericho-Sotik road. It also has a road link to Bomet. Litein's name originated from the word "liteito" - a stone used for sharpening iron objects during the pre-colonial period. It is one of the busiest town in South Rift region and is surrounded by other towns like Kapkatet (which is known as the Kipsigis headquarters) Koiwa, Boito, Mogogosiek, Kusumek, Chemosot and Cheborge shopping centres. Konoin Constituency is an electoral constituency in Bomet County, Kenya. It is one of five constituencies in Bomet County and was one of three constituencies of the former Buret District. Kericho County is one of the 47 Counties of Kenya, counties in Kenya. The county seats between longitude 35°02' and 35°40' East and between the equator and latitude 0°23' South with an altitude of about 2002m above the sea level. Sotik
Sotik town is an urban centre situated in Sotik Constituency, Sotik Sub-county within Bomet County in the Western region of Kenya and managed by Sotik Town Council.
