Con Bunde
Conley Ralph "Con" Bunde (born August 4, 1938) was an American educator and politician. He was born in Mankato, Minnesota. Bunde graduated from Mankato High School in 1956. He then served in the United States Army for three years. Bunde received his bachelor's and master's degree from Central Washington University in 1966 and 1970. He lived in Ketchikan, Alaska in 1962 and moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1968. Bunde taught speech communication at University of Alaska Anchorage. In between 1993 and 2003, Bunde served in the Alaska House of Representatives and was a Republican Party (United States), Republican. He then served in the Alaska State Senate from 2003 to 2011. Bunde, Germany
Bunde is a municipal district in East Frisia, in Lower Saxony, Germany, about south of Emden, Germany, and east of Groningen, Netherlands. It lies on the southern tip of the Dollart, a bay of the North Sea between Germany and the Netherlands, and has a land border with the Netherlands. Bunde is among the smaller districts of East Frisia, with a population of 7,607 (as of 2015). About half live in the town of Bunde itself. The district's population density is comparatively low at , compared with for Germany as a whole. In the 17th and 18th centuries, sizeable areas of the district were wrested from the sea by the creation of polders. Bunde's economy centers on agriculture and tourism. The community has been officially recognized as a resort town since 1998. Many of the town's residents commute to jobs elsewhere, notably in Leer, about to the east. Bunde (; li, Bung ) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Meerssen, about 2 km northwest of Meerssen itself. History The village was first mentioned in 893 as Bundende. The etymology is unclear. Bunde developed on the eastern flank of the Maas Valley. It used to belong to the . In 1626, it became an independent '' heerlijkheid''. Between June 1814 until May 1815, it was part of Prussia, but awarded to the Kingdom of the Netherlands by the Congress of Vienna. The Old St Agnes Church is a single aisled church with a double tower at the front. In 1714, the medieval church was replaced by the current church. The tower burnt down in 1822 after a lightning strike. The New St Agnes Church is an aisleless church with concrete tower built between 1959 and 1960. Bunde was home to 386 people in 1840. Bünde (Low German ''Buine'') is a town in the Herford district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Geography Bünde is situated between Osnabrück (west), Hannover (east) and Bielefeld (south). Waterways The town is crossed from west to east by the River Else, one of the few rivers in the world that does not originate from a spring, but as a result of bifurcation. It drains the whole area and discharges via the Werre and Weser into the North Sea. Within the town area it is joined by numerous small streams from the south and north. One of the northern streams is the Gewinghauser Bach, which on its way to the Else crosses water meadows in the district of Ennigloh-Gewinghausen. Bunde is an unincorporated community located in Chippewa County, Minnesota, United States, and can be found approximately 100 miles due west of Minneapolis. History Bunde was founded by W.D. Ammermann. In 1887, W.D. moved to Minnesota from Bunde, Germany, which was in the Rheiderland District.
