Sir Edward Herbert Bunbury, 9th Baronet (8 July 1811 – 5 March 1895), known as Edward Bunbury until 1886, was an Barristers in England and Wales, English Barrister and a British Liberal Party (UK), Liberal Party politician. Biography Bunbury was the second son of Sir Henry Bunbury, 7th Baronet, and the grandson of Henry Bunbury (caricaturist), Henry Bunbury; his mother was Louisa Emilia Fox, daughter of Henry Edward Fox. He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. He was Call to the bar, called to the bar by the Inner Temple in 1841. In 1847 Bunbury was elected to the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, House of Commons for Bury St Edmunds (UK Parliament constituency), Bury St Edmunds, a seat he held until 1852. In 1886, he succeeded his elder brother in the baronetcy. Bunbury died of pneumonia in March 1895, aged 83. Enrique Ortiz de Landázuri Izarduy (born 11 August 1967), best known as Enrique Bunbury, is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He has been described as "by far the most international star of Spanish rock." He was propelled to fame as lead singer of Héroes del Silencio. After the band disbanded in 1996, Bunbury gradually developed a solo career. His "tessitura" singing style would be in the baritone range. Henry William Bunbury
Henry William Bunbury (1 July 1750 – 7 May 1811) was an English caricaturist. The second son of Sir William Bunbury, 5th Baronet (see Bunbury baronets), of Mildenhall, Suffolk, he came of an old Norman family. He was educated at Westminster School and St Catharine's College, Cambridge, and soon showed a talent for drawing, especially for humorous subjects. He temporarily left Cambridge to embark on a tour of Europe, during which time he may have studied in Rome; he returned to school in 1771 but is not known to have completed a degree. His European travels inspired a series of caricatures mocking foreigners, notably his ''La cuisine de la poste'', exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1770. His more serious efforts were no great success, but his caricatures are as famous as those of his contemporaries Thomas Rowlandson and James Gillray, good examples being his ''Country Club'' (1788), ''Barber's Shop'' (1803) and ''A Long Story'' (1782). Sir Henry Edward Bunbury, KCB, 7th Baronet (4 March 1778 – 13 April 1860) was a British soldier and historian. Life Sir Henry, son of the famous caricaturist, Henry William Bunbury and Catherine Horneck, was educated at Westminster, and served on active service in the army from 1795 to 1809, notably in the Anglo-Russian invasion of Holland in 1799, the Egyptian Campaign 1801, and the campaigns in the Mediterranean, where Bunbury served as Quartermaster-General. He particularly distinguished himself at the Battle of Maida in 1806. He served as Under-Secretary of State for War and the Colonies from 1809 to 1816. He was promoted to the rank of Major-General and appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in 1815, and in the same year was responsible for informing Napoleon of his sentence of deportation to St Helena. The Bunbury Baronetcy, of Bunbury, Oxon and Stanney Hall in the County of Chester, is a title in the Baronetage of England. It was created on 29 June 1681 for Thomas Bunbury, Sheriff of Cheshire from 1673 to 1674 and the member of an ancient Cheshire family. His grandson, Henry, the third Baronet, and great-grandson, the fourth Baronet, both sat as Members of Parliament for Chester. The latter died unmarried at an early age and was succeeded by his younger brother, the fifth Baronet. He was a clergyman. On his death in 1764 the title passed to his eldest son, the sixth Baronet. He represented Suffolk in the House of Commons for over forty years but is best remembered for his marriage to Lady Sarah Lennox.
