Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo (russian: Бульвар Дмитрия Донского) is a Moscow Metro station in the Severnoye Butovo District, South-Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, Russia. It is the southern terminus of the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line. Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo, which opened in December 2002, is the newest station of the line. It was named for the street on which it is situated, which, in turn, is named for Dmitry Donskoy. There are 250 active stations of the Moscow Metro. Of these, 209 on Moscow Metro proper, and some additional ones that are marketed by Moscow Metro: 6 stations of Moscow Monorail and 31 stations of the Moscow Central Circle. Two stations have been closed. As of 2017 several new stations are under construction or being planned. One station is reserved for future service ( Delovoy Tsentr for the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line). The Moscow Automobile Ring Road (russian: link=no, Московская кольцевая автомобильная дорога, Moskovskaja koltsevaya avtomobilnaya doroga), or MKAD (), is a ring road running predominantly on the city border of Moscow with a length of 108.9 km (67.7 mi) and 35 exits (including ten interchanges). Ulitsa Starokachalovskaya (russian: У́лица Ста́рокачаловская) is a station on the Butovskaya Line of the Moscow Metro subway system in Moscow, Russia. The station, opened with four other light metro stations on 27 December 2003. Its design is unique, as it contains two separate platforms on either side of another metro station, Bulvar Dmitriya Donskogo on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya Line. Name It is named for the street under which the station lies. Building The station is built with a type of iron-concrete and shiny glazed marble, with sconces in small alcoves hanging above benches for passengers waiting for the next train. Saint Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy ( rus, Дми́трий Ива́нович Донско́й, Dmítriy Ivanovich Donskóy, also known as Dimitrii or Demetrius), or Dmitry of the Don, sometimes referred to simply as Dmitry (12 October 1350 – 19 May 1389), son of Ivan II the Fair of Moscow (1326–1359), reigned as the Prince of Moscow from 1359 and Grand Prince of Vladimir from 1363 to his death.
