Fawn Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania
Fawn Township is a township in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,193 at the 2020 census. The township derives its name either directly after Fahan, County Donegal, Ireland, by Irish settlers of which 'fawn' is the phonetic pronunciation, or indirectly from the York County township of that name with name origin. According to the township itself, Fawn Township derived its name from its parent township, Deer Township, from which it was formed 28 March 1858. Clinton Township is a township in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,864 at the 2010 census. For generations, it was home to a U.S. Steel plant. Geography Clinton Township is located in southern Butler County, along the Allegheny County border. It contains the unincorporated communities of Cunningham, Lardintown, and Ivywood. Rocky Run is a tributary of Bull Creek in Butler County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Course The entire course of Rocky Run is within Clinton Township. It rises just east of Sandy Hill Road along Glade Mill Road (part of PA Route 228). The stream generally flows in a southeastern direction towards Allegheny County. Allegheny River
The Allegheny River ( ) is a long headwater stream of the Ohio River in western Pennsylvania and New York (state), New York. The Allegheny River runs from its headwaters just below the middle of Pennsylvania's northern border northwesterly into New York then in a zigzag southwesterly across the border and through Western Pennsylvania to join the Monongahela River at the Forks of the Ohio on the "Point" of Point State Park in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania Route 366
Pennsylvania Route 366 (PA 366) is a state highway located in Allegheny and Westmoreland Counties in Pennsylvania. The western terminus is at PA 28 in Tarentum. The eastern terminus is at PA 66 in Murrysville. The last 1/2 mile of the Red Belt route of the Allegheny County belt system runs along PA 366 in Tarentum from its eastbound beginning at the PA 28 interchange to the intersection of Freeport Rd. and Ross St. where the Red Belt terminates. Route description PA 366 begins at an interchange with the PA 28 freeway in Fawn Township, Allegheny County, heading south on Bull Creek Road, a four-lane divided highway that is part of the Red Belt of the Allegheny County belt system.
