Bulgarian Open (badminton)
The Bulgarian Open Championship is an annual international badminton championships held in Bulgaria since 1985, by then known as Bulgarian International. It was halted between 1996 and 1998, and in 2000. The tournament belongs to the Badminton Europe elite circuit and become the highest level badminton tournament in Bulgaria. Bulgaria

Andrey Antropov
Andrey Mikhaylovich Antropov (russian: Андрей Михайлович Антропов; born 21 May 1967) is a badminton player from Russia who represented the Soviet Union and Russian Federation at the European Badminton Championships and the Unified Team and Russia at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, respectively. Antropov competed in badminton at the 1996 Summer Olympics in men's doubles with partner Nikolai Zuyev. They were defeated by Antonius Ariantho and Denny Kantono of Indonesia (15-5, 15-1) in the quarterfinals. Gao Meifeng
Gao , or Gawgaw/Kawkaw, is a city in Mali and the capital of the Gao Region. The city is located on the River Niger, east-southeast of Timbuktu on the left bank at the junction with the Tilemsi valley. For much of its history Gao was an important commercial centre involved in the trans-Saharan trade. In the 9th century external Arabic writers described Gao as an important regional power, and by the end of the 10th century, the local ruler was said to be a Muslim.
