Bulgaria In The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007
Bulgaria selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 entry by a national final, which was held on 29 September 2007. The winner was Bon-Bon with the song "Bonbolandiya" which represented Bulgaria in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 on 8 December 2007. Before Junior Eurovision National final The final took place on 29 September 2007 at the Hall 2 of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, hosted by Doni, Katya and Tanya. Ten songs competed and the winner was determined by public televoting. Voting was open for 10 minutes, and at the conclusion of the voting, "Bonbolandiya" performed by Bon-Bon were the winners, receiving almost 25% of the public vote. Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 was the fifth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. It was held in the Ahoy indoor sporting arena in Rotterdam, the Netherlands on 8 December. The host country was chosen by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) on 13 July 2006 and the host city was announced on 11 September 2006. AVRO won the rights to host the show over Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT) of Croatia (who did not participate in this contest) and the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) of Cyprus. National Palace Of Culture
The National Palace of Culture (, ; abbreviated as , NDK), located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, is the largest, multifunctional conference and exhibition centre in south-eastern Europe. It was opened in 1981 in celebration of Bulgaria's 1300th anniversary. The centre was initiated at the suggestion of Lyudmila Zhivkova, daughter of the communist leader of the former People's Republic of Bulgaria Todor Zhivkov. Sofia ( ; bg, София, Sofiya, ) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sofia Valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. Dobrin Dimitrov Vekilov (born May 7, 1966) (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Добрин Димитров Векилов), best known by his stage name Doni (Bulgarian Cyrillic: Дони), is a Bulgarian pop singer, composer and actor. Biography Prior to turning to singing, Doni started his education as a pharmacist but his passion for music prevailed. He began studying music in 1988 and started his professional music career in the 1990s as a member of the bands "Atlas" and "Medikus". Krisia Marinova Todorova ( bg, Крисия Маринова Тодорова, born 1 June 2004) is a Bulgarian singer, composer and songwriter. Along with Ignatov Brothers, she represented Bulgaria at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with her song " Planet of the Children". They finished in second place, however they won the press voting. The following year she performed "Discover", the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 official song, in Arena Armeec, Sofia., and again " Planet of the Children" and "I'd like to draw a dream" at "New Wave Junior", 2015, Sochi, Russian Federation. Hasan and Ibrahim Ignatov ( bg, Хасан Игнатов и Ибрахим Игнатов, born 15 December 2003) are Bulgarian twin pianists. Along with Krisia Todorova, they represented Bulgaria in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Malta with the song " Planet of the Children". The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014 was the 12th edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place, for the first time, in Malta. This was the third time that the contest was hosted by the winning country. Maltese national broadcaster PBS was the host broadcaster for the event.
