Buildering (also known as edificeering, urban climbing, structuring, skywalking, boulding, or stegophily) describes the act of climbing on the outside of buildings and other artificial structures. The word "buildering", sometimes misspelled bildering, combines the word ''building'' with the climbing term ''bouldering''. If done without ropes or protection far off the ground, buildering is extremely dangerous. It is often practiced outside legal bounds, and is thus mostly at night. Bilders (or Builders) is a New Zealand music group of varying lineups that produced a string of self-recorded 7-inch vinyl releases between 1980 and 1982 leading to Beatin Hearts, the first studio-album from fledgling New Zealand indie label, independent record label 'Flying Nun Records'. Known variously from pre-internet times as Die Bilder (German, for "The Pictures"), Bilderbergers, bilderine, Soluble Fish, and High Thirties Piano, their alternative band names reflected a playfulness that challenged priority branding. It was first published in the magazine '' Amazing Stories'', in December, 1953-January 1954, with illustration by Ed Emshwiller. Levack, Daniel (1981). PKD: A Philip K. ''Building'' is one of the United Kingdom's oldest business-to-business magazines, launched as ''The Builder'' in 1843 by Joseph Aloysius Hansom – architect of Birmingham Town Hall and designer of the Hansom Cab. The journal was renamed ''Building'' in 1966 as it is still known today. ''Building'' is the only UK title to cover the entire building industry. History ''The Builder's'' first two editors, Hansom and Alfred Bartholomew (1801–1845), did not last long in the job. The architect George Godwin (1813–1888) was editor from 1844 to 1883, and turned ''The Builder'' "into the most important and successful professional paper of its kind with a readership well beyond the architectural and building world."
