Bugsnax
''Bugsnax'' is an adventure video game developed by independent game studio Young Horses. In the game, players explore a mysterious island and attempt to find and capture the eponymous half-bug-half-snack creatures. The game was unveiled in June 2020 during Sony's PlayStation 5 live-streamed reveal event. British indie pop band Kero Kero Bonito performed the game's theme song, which was featured in the announcement trailer. The game was released in November 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, as well as Microsoft Windows and macOS via the Epic Games Store. Versions of the game for Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S followed in April 2022. Kero Kero Bonito
Kero Kero Bonito (KKB) are a British indie pop band formed in South London in 2011. The band consists of vocalist Sarah Midori Perry and producers and multi-instrumentalists Gus Lobban and Jamie Bulled. Their musical style consists of indie pop, electropop, dance-rock, hyperpop, and Bubblegum music, bubblegum pop. The band's earlier work was influenced by J-pop such as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, as well as dancehall, and video game music; however, following their 2018 EP ''TOTEP'' their sound and influences diversified, with their second studio album, ''Time 'n' Place'', being influenced by indie rock contemporaries such as Mount Eerie and My Bloody Valentine (band), My Bloody Valentine. Irrlicht (pronounced in German) is an open-source game engine written in C++. It is cross-platform, officially running on Windows, macOS, Linux and Windows CE and due to its open nature ports to other systems are available, including FreeBSD, Xbox (up to Irrlicht version 1.8.1), PlayStation Portable, Symbian, iPhone, AmigaOS 4, Sailfish OS via a QT/Qml wrapper, and Google Native Client. Irrlicht is known for its small size and compatibility with new and older hardware alike, ease of learning, and a large friendly community. ''Octodad: Dadliest Catch'' is an independent adventure video game developed and published by Young Horses. It is a sequel to the 2010 freeware game ''Octodad''. The game consists of controlling the protagonist Octodad in completing chores typical of the mundane suburban father, but complicated by the fact that he is an octopus in disguise. Gameplay ''Octodad: Dadliest Catch'' requires the player to control the protagonist, Octodad, as he maneuvers his way through increasingly complex challenges all while attempting to hide the fact that he is a cephalopod in human clothing. The player can control one of two sets of tentacles, mimicking arms and legs, switching between the two with a single button. The player is able to pick up and throw loose items as well, through manipulation of these tentacles. is an action role-playing video game developed by Level-5 and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2.
