Bugged (album)
''Bugged'' is the third studio album by rock band Babybird released in 2000. It was also the last album the band released on the Echo Records label before being dropped. The band subsequently split but re-united once again in 2006 for their fourth studio album ''Between My Ears There Is Nothing But Music''. The album features the single "The F-Word" which was later used as the theme tune for Gordon Ramsay's television series of the same name. The song "Getaway" was also used in an episode of ''Trigger Happy TV ''Trigger Happy TV'' is a hidden camera/ practical joke comedy television series. Babybird
Babybird are an English rock band formed by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Stephen Jones, who has been releasing music since 1995. While Jones' early solo work was released under the "Baby Bird" name, the altered "Babybird" was first used to distinguish the full band line-up that has changed often over the years. However, in recent years, Jones has recorded many of the Babybird albums himself, in addition to recording as a solo artist, and under various aliases including Death Of The Neighbourhood, Trucker, Black Reindeer, Deluder, Arthritis Kid and others. Stephen Jones started writing and recording songs at home and his first collection of these demos, '' I Was Born a Man'', was released in July 1995 using the name Baby Bird. Echo Records
The Echo Label was a British record label started by Chrysalis Group in 1994, and linked with Pony Canyon in Japan. The Chrysalis Group were the original owners of Chrysalis Records, which they sold to EMI. In 2005, The Echo Label recorded a loss of over £2.0 million. The decision was taken to restructure the business at the beginning of the 2006 financial year, into an "incubator" for developing writer-artists with the intention of "upstreaming" them to a major label. The signings which resulted from this included Bat for Lashes, Steven Lindsay, Rosalie Deighton, Jacob Golden and Sarabeth Tucek. They would continue to release records for their established artists Feeder and Morcheeba. ''There's Something Going On'' is the second studio album by the rock band Babybird, released in 1998. Unlike the band's previous album, ''Ugly Beautiful'', only one of the tracks is an alternative version of an original recording made by lead singer, Stephen Jones, before the band was formed. The original version of "I Was Never Here" can be heard on ''Fatherhood''. The album peaked at No. 28 on the UK Albums Chart. Critical reception ''The Irish Times'' wrote that "Baby Bird's mix of sweet pop and sour grapes is not always palatable, but sometimes it's a welcome tonic for jaded Britpoppers." ''Trigger Happy TV'' is a hidden camera/ practical joke comedy television series. The original British edition of the show, produced by Absolutely Productions, starred Dom Joly and ran for three series on the British television channel Channel 4 from 2000 to 2003. Joly made a name for himself as the sole star of the show, which he produced and directed with cameraman Sam Cadman. ''Trigger Happy TV'' and '' World Shut Your Mouth'', his other major show, would both be categorised as deadpan or "dry humour". Steve Bloom
Steve Bloom (born 1953) is a South African photographer and writer. Son of journalist, novelist, and political activist Harry Bloom, he is best known for his photography books and essays as well as his large scale outdoor exhibitions called ''Spirit of the Wild''.
