Mannington is a city in Marion County, West Virginia, United States, located in the hills of North-Central West Virginia. The Allegheny Plateau , in the United States, is a large dissected plateau area of the Appalachian Mountains in western and central New York, northern and western Pennsylvania, northern and western West Virginia, and eastern Ohio. Barrackville Covered Bridge
The Barrackville Covered Bridge spans in a single span across Buffalo Creek near Barrackville, West Virginia. Built in 1853 by local bridge builder Lemuel Chenoweth, the structure is a modified arched Burr truss, with siding added twenty years after the bridge's construction.
