Buendia Station
Buendia station is an underground Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station situated on Line 3. It is one of two underground stations that can be found on the line, the other being Ayala. The station lies near the EDSA–Kalayaan Flyover and Gil Puyat Avenue (Buendia Avenue) in Makati. It is the tenth station for trains headed to Taft Avenue and the fourth station for trains headed to North Avenue. It is the second to the last station south of Pasig River and is also the last underground station in the line before the line goes above ground at Guadalupe station. It is one of five stations on the line where passengers can catch a train going in the opposite direction without paying a new fare due to the station's layout. The other four stations are Araneta Center-Cubao, Shaw Boulevard, Boni, Ayala, and Taft Avenue. Buendia Railway Station
Buendia station is a former railway station located on the South Main Line in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. Buendia was the ninth station from Tutuban and is one of three stations serving Makati, the other two being Pasay Road and EDSA. It was permanently closed in favor of a newly constructed, more spacious Dela Rosa station located south across Dela Rosa Street. History Buendia station was opened on November 24, 1975 as part of the 83rd anniversary of PNR coincided with the track duplication from Paco to Pasay Road, the station was renovated from 1989 to 1990 for the Metrotren Commuter service. During the Northrail–Southrail Linkage Project, the platforms were raised with renovation of the station area and formally reopened on July 14, 2009. On September 8, 2017, the station was closed due to short platforms where four to five-car trains do not fit. A new station was built south of the former station. Chinchiná, Caldas
Chinchiná (estimated population 84,000) is a municipality located in the department of Caldas in Colombia, southwest of Manizales. Chinchiná is rich in character and beautiful landscapes. Founded in 1857 by Antioquian colonists, Chinchiná is settled in a valley surrounded by coffee plantations, called "fincas", in the Central Cordillera of the Andes. Gil Puyat Avenue
Senator Gil J. Puyat Avenue, also known simply as Gil Puyat Avenue and formerly and still referred to as Buendia Avenue, is a major arterial thoroughfare which travels east–west through the cities of Makati and Pasay in western Metro Manila, Philippines. It is one of the busiest avenues in Metro Manila linking the Makati Central Business District with the rest of the metropolis. The avenue begins at Roxas Boulevard on the west and continues through the district of San Isidro, Pasay until intersecting with Taft Avenue. Past the intersection with the elevated Gil Puyat station, Gil Puyat LRT Station, the road runs through Tramo Street and Barangays Palanan and San Isidro in Makati.
