Bucknell Bison Men's Soccer
The Bucknell Bison men's soccer team is an intercollegiate varsity sports team of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. They are an NCAA Division I team and member of the Patriot League. Through its history, Bucknell has played in the Middle Atlantic Conference (1947–73), East Coast Conference (1974–89) and Patriot League (1990-pres.). Bucknell has won all four of its Patriot League titles since 2006 and in doing so has been one of the most successful Patriot League teams in that time. The Bison are currently coached by Dave Brandt. NCAA Tournament Bucknell has made seven appearances in the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championships. The Bison have advanced to the second round three times by defeating Penn State in 1974, George Mason in 2006 and Princeton in 2009. Dave Brandt
David Brandt is an American soccer coach who is currently the head coach of the Bucknell Bison. Playing career Brandt played college soccer for Messiah College between 1981 and 1984. Coaching career Collegiate Brandt coached his alma mater Messiah College from 1997 to 2008. During that time, the team compiled a 246-25-14 record for a .888 win percentage. The team won six NCAA Division III National Championships. His win percentage and 52 postseason wins are both Division III records. In 2005, his team compiled a 24-0-0 record, becoming one of only five teams to have an undefeated season at any level of the NCAA since 1976. George Mason University
George Mason University (George Mason, Mason, or GMU) is a public research university in Fairfax County, Virginia with an independent City of Fairfax, Virginia postal address in the Washington, D.C. Mike Lookingland
Mike Lookingland (born 13 September 1983) is an American soccer defender who played for the Milwaukee Wave of the Major Arena Soccer League in the 2014–2015 season. He was the 2012 Major Indoor Soccer League Defender of the Year. Player Lookingland graduated from Loyola Blakefield. He attended Bucknell University, playing on the men's soccer team from 2001 to 2004. He was a 2004 Third Team All American. In 2003 and 2004, he played for the Chesapeake Dragons of the Premier Development League during the collegiate off season. On 4 February 2005, Real Salt Lake selected Lookingland in the second round (thirteenth overall) of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft. He spent two seasons in Salt Lake. Conor O'Brien (soccer)
Conor Stephen O'Brien (born October 20, 1988) is an American soccer player. Youth career Conor O'Brien won a State Cup as a Boys-Under-10 player with the Long Island Junior Soccer League's Terryville Fire in 1999. He was the only Fire player remaining the next time they won the State Cup—as an Under-18 side in 2007. In 2007, O’Brien pulled off a stunning accomplishment when he led his club team, the Terryville Fire, to a U-18 national title. NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship
The NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament, sometimes known as the College Cup, is an American intercollegiate soccer tournament conducted by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and determines the Division I men's national champion. The tournament has been formally held since 1959, when it was an eight-team tournament. Since then, the tournament has expanded to 48 teams, in which every Division I conference tournament champion is allocated a berth. Among the most successful programs, Saint Louis won 10 titles during dynasty years between 1959 and 1973. Patriot League
The Patriot League is a collegiate athletic conference comprising private institutions of higher education and two United States service academies based in the Northeastern United States. Outside the Ivy League, it is among the most selective groups of higher education institutions in the NCAA, and has a very high student-athlete graduation rate for both the NCAA graduation success rate and the federal graduation rate.
