Bucketts Way
(The) Bucketts Way is a rural road that links Gloucester to Taree and Raymond Terrace, in New South Wales, Australia. A former alignment of Pacific Highway, it was later named after the Bucketts Mountains, a prominent mountain range near Gloucester. The entire route is designated as Tourist Route 2. Route In the south, the Bucketts Way branches off to the west of Pacific Highway at Twelve Mile Creek, north of the Raymond Terrace bypass. Heading north, it crosses the Karuah River about south of Stroud and then roughly follows the course of the Karuah River upstream in a west-north-westerly direction for approximately , crossing the Mammy Johnsons River. It then turns north-north-east and then north for until it reaches Gloucester, crossing the Avon River on the way. Purfleet, New South Wales
Purfleet is a small suburb of the Greater Taree region, located within the Mid-Coast Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated approximately north of Sydney. At the 2016 census, the town reported a resident population of 127. The median age was 30. Indigenous presence Purfleet was previously the site of an Aboriginal reserve, originally known as Sunshine Station, established by the Aborigines Protection Board in 1900. A mission school operated on the reserve from 1903 until 1952. Aboriginal people from the area were relocated to the mission, and were not allowed to leave to go to town without the permission of the manager. Uralla
Uralla is a town on the Northern Tablelands, New South Wales, Australia. The town is located at the intersection of the New England Highway and Thunderbolts Way, north of Sydney and about south west of the city of Armidale. New England Highway
New England Highway is an long highway in Australia running from Yarraman, north of Toowoomba, Queensland at its northern end to Hexham at Newcastle, New South Wales at its southern end. It is part of Australia's National Highway system, and forms part of the inland route between Brisbane and Sydney. Great Lakes Council
Great Lakes Council was a local government area in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is situated adjacent to the shores of Port Stephens, Myall Lakes and Wallis Lake and the Pacific Highway and the Lakes Way. On 12 May 2016 the council was dissolved and the area included in the Mid-Coast Council, along with the City of Greater Taree and Gloucester Shire. Port Stephens Council
Port Stephens Council (also known simply as Port Stephens) is a local government area in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. The area is just north of Newcastle and is adjacent to the Pacific Highway which runs through Raymond Terrace, the largest town and Council seat. The area is named after Port Stephens, which is the major geographical feature of the area.
