Bucerías, Nayarit
Bucerías meaning "Divers town" ("diving "), is a small Mexico, Mexican beach resort town in the state of Nayarit on a stretch of Pacific coast known as the Riviera Nayarit, on and in the Bahía de Banderas, Bay and municipality of Banderas, between La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Nuevo Vallarta. Its former name was ''Santa Julia de las Tablas''. In the 2020 census it had a population of 16,161 residents (seasonal influxes double that number) and is a typical town of the region with cobblestone streets, the main square, church, and many services for visiting foreigners, and features a wide array of restaurants. It has an uninterrupted white sand beach that continues north and south for a total of more than and the city sits at an elevation of . Bucerías is bisected by the Arroyo del Indio, a mountain run-off that remains dry most of the year. Nayarit
Nayarit (), officially the Free and Sovereign State of Nayarit ( es, Estado Libre y Soberano de Nayarit), is one of the 31 states that, along with Mexico City, comprise the Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided in 20 municipalities and its capital city is Tepic. It is bordered by the states of Sinaloa to the northwest, Durango to the north, Zacatecas to the northeast and Jalisco to the south. The Riviera Nayarit () is a nearly 200-mile stretch of coastline in Mexico between the historic port of San Blas, of Nayarit to where the Río Ameca empties into Banderas Bay, Nuevo Vallarta. Bahía De Banderas
Bahía de Banderas (, Spanish for ''Bay of Flags'') is a bay on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, within the Mexican states of Jalisco and Nayarit. It is also the name of an administrative municipality, located on the bay in Nayarit state. The port and resort city of Puerto Vallarta is on the bay. Geology The Bahía de Banderas is regarded by most geologists as the original attachment point for the southern cape of the Baja California Peninsula before it was rifted off the North American Plate millions of years ago, forming the Gulf of California. La Cruz De Huanacaxtle
''La Cruz de Huanacaxtle'' ("The Cross of Huanacaxtle") is a Mexican fishing village situated on the Pacific Ocean's Bahía de Banderas in the state of Nayarit. Cobblestone is a natural building material based on cobble-sized stones, and is used for pavement roads, streets, and buildings. Setts, also called Belgian blocks, are often casually referred to as "cobbles", although a sett is distinct from a cobblestone by being quarried or shaped to a regular form, whereas cobblestone is generally of a naturally occurring form and is less uniform in size. Use in roading Cobblestones are typically either set in sand or similar material, or are bound together with mortar. Paving with cobblestones allows a road to be heavily used all year long.
