Bubble O' Bill
Bubble O' Bill is a brand of packaged frozen dessert sold in Australia and New Zealand, manufactured under Unilever's Streets brand, and formerly available in the United States and United Kingdom under sister brands Good Humor and Wall's respectively. Its name a pun on Old West figure Buffalo Bill, the ice cream resembles a cowboy, distinctive for having a gumball in place of a nose. Composition The Bubble O' Bill is a moulded ice cream on a stick, resembling a cowboy with a large hat, "Bill". Three flavours of ice cream are used to form the details of a Bubble O' Bill, strawberry for the face, caramel moustache details, and a chocolate hat, with a hole resembling a gunshot. Streets (ice Cream)
Streets is an Australian ice-cream brand owned by the British multinational company Unilever. Some products are made in China and shipped to Australia and New Zealand. It is part of Unilever's ice cream brand Heartbrand. The company is in a long-term contract with dairy company Dairy Farmers. Founding and history Streets was founded in Corrimal, New South Wales, in the 1930s by Edwin "Ted" Street and his wife Daisy. He set up a distribution depot at Bexley and then a factory where products were manufactured in the Sydney suburb of Turrella until 1996, when production moved to a new facility in Minto. Today most cream-based products are produced at Minto, while water-based products are imported from China. Tripod are an Australian musical comedy trio founded by Scod (Scott Edgar), Yon (Simon Hall) and Gatesy (Steven Gates) in 1996. They provide original songs and harmonies, strung together by comic banter. History Live shows Tripod began as buskers in Melbourne malls, performing a far-fetched prop act of which no record exists. They emerged as a musical act from the thriving Melbourne live music pub scene of the mid nineties, supporting popular local cover bands in such places as the Station Hotel, The Esplanade, the Central Club, the New Orleans Tavern and the Ritz, St Kilda. Pauls is an Australian brand name for a range of dairy products. Pauls history can be traced back to 1923. The company has been known under various names, including Queensland United Foods Ltd (QUF), Pauls Ice Cream & Milk Ltd and Pauls Limited. Agro is an Australian puppet and media personality, operated by comedian and voice artist Jamie Dunn. He was especially prominent on Australian television in the 1990s due to his co-hosting opposite Ann-Maree Biggar and Terasa Livingstone of ''Agro's Cartoon Connection'', a children's program that was aired from 1989 to 1997 on weekday mornings on the Seven Network.
