Bubbenhall is a village and civil parish in the Warwick district of Warwickshire, England. The village lies off the A445 road, about southeast of Coventry, and north-northeast of Leamington Spa. According to the 2001 Census it had a population of 687, reducing to 655 at the 2011 Census. It has two pubs, The Three Horseshoes and The Malt Shovel and a sports field with a village hall. Just to the east of the village is Ryton Pools Country Park and to the south is Weston and Waverley Wood. Warwick (district)
Warwick is a local government district of central Warwickshire in England. It borders the Borough of Rugby and Stratford-on-Avon District in Warwickshire as well as the West Midlands County (of which Coventry and Solihull are within the historic boundaries of Warwickshire). The City of Coventry is to the north and northeast, the Stratford-on-Avon District to the southwest and south, the Borough of Rugby to the east, and the Borough of Solihull to the west and northwest. The district is centred around a conurbation that includes the towns of Warwick, Leamington Spa and Whitnash which had a population of 95,000. A445 Road
The A445 road is a road in Warwickshire, England. It runs between the town of Warwick and the A45, also passing through the north of Leamington Spa. The road provides the major link between Leamington/Warwick and north-east Warwickshire, including Rugby and the M45/ M1 motorways. The M45/M1 provided the major route to London until the early 1990s but have now been superseded by the M40, which passes to the south of the Leamington/Warwick conurbation. Route The A445 begins in central Warwick at a junction with the A425 as Smith Street, and the first part of it is single carriageway. It then merges into the A429 very briefly before heading towards Leamington. Ryton-on-Dunsmore is a village and civil parish in the Borough of Rugby, Warwickshire, situated 5.5 miles (8.8 km) southeast of Coventry and 7.5 miles (12.1 km) west of Rugby, England. The 2001 Census recorded a population of 1,672 in the parish, increasing to 1,813 at the 2011 Census. The A45 dual carriageway passes through Ryton, and nearby villages include Bubbenhall, Stretton-on-Dunsmore and Wolston. Stoneleigh, Warwickshire
Stoneleigh is a small village in Warwickshire, England, on the River Sowe, situated 4.5 miles (7.25 km) south of Coventry and 5.5 miles (9 km) north of Leamington Spa. The population taken at the 2011 census was 3,636. The village is about northeast of the confluence of the River Sowe and the River Avon. The village's church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Baginton
Baginton is a village and civil parish in the Warwick district of Warwickshire, England, and has a common border with the City of Coventry / West Midlands county. With a population of 801 ( 2001 Census), Baginton village is 4 miles (6.5 km) south of central Coventry, 4.5 miles (7 km) northeast of Kenilworth (its post town) and 7 miles (11.25 km) north of Leamington Spa. Stretton-on-Dunsmore
Stretton-on-Dunsmore is a village and civil parish in the English county of Warwickshire. Its population in the 2001 Census was recorded as 1,143, rising slightly to 1,159 at the 2011 Census. In the 19th century the population was 634. The village is situated just south of the A45 road, approximately midway between Rugby and Coventry. Ryton Pools Country Park
Ryton Pools Country Park is a country park one mile (1.6 km) south west of the village of Ryton on Dunsmore in Warwickshire, England. The park occupies an area of about and contains four pools, the largest of which covers approximately . Professional park rangers are employed to look after the varied flora and fauna of the park as well as the general maintenance of pathways and buildings. The park is run by Warwickshire County Council with half in Rugby Borough and half in Warwick District boundary. The area of the park containing the pools is reasonably flat and suitable for wheelchair access. History Lower Palaeolithic hand axes have been found in the sand and gravel pits close to the park.
