Bryan Sellers
Bryan Sellers (born August 19, 1982 in Daytona Beach, Florida, Dayton, Ohio) is an American racing driver. Sellers won the title in the U.S. F2000 National Championship, U.S. F2000 in 2002 and later competed in the Atlantic Championship and in racing sports cars. Racing career Bryan Sellers first competed in the World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturer's Cup and the Gold Cup in 1994, racing other young drivers such as Danica Patrick. In 1998, Sellers won the Spec 100 Open class in the Manufacturer's Cup, beating future Atlantic Championship rival Jonathan Macri. Sellers made his first auto racing start in a Star Mazda in 1998, before competing in the Midwestern Skip Barber Formula Dodge. Sellers won the championship, beating other young hopefuls such as Caio Travaglini and Jason LaPoint. 2004 Atlantic Championship Season
The 2004 Toyota Atlantic Championship season was contested over 12 rounds. 11 different teams and 24 different drivers competed. In this one-make formula all drivers had to utilize Swift chassis and Toyota engines. This season also saw a C2-class running older Swift chassis and Toyota engines. In C2-class five different drivers competed, but none of them for the whole season. Marc Breuers
Marc Breuers (born 10 April 1975 in New York City) is a former Barber Dodge Pro Series and Atlantic Championship driver. Racing career Breuers started his first competitive racing championship in 1999. Breuers won nine races in his inaugural season. Breuers finished second in the championship, three points behind Ryan Hunter-Reay. The young driver struggled in his first season in the Barber Dodge Pro Series. In 2000 his best results were two ninth place finishes at Lime Rock Park and Vancouver. For 2001 Breuers returned to the series. The American captured his first podium finish. At Cleveland Breuers finished behind Sepp Koster and Matt Plumb. With consistent top ten finishes Breuers finished sixth in the standings. Lime Rock Park
Lime Rock Park is a natural-terrain motorsport road racing venue located in Lakeville, Connecticut, United States, a hamlet in the town of Salisbury, in the state's northwest corner. Built in 1956, it is the nation's third oldest continuously operating road racing venue, behind Road America (1955) and Willow Springs International Motorsports Park (1953). The track is owned by Skip Barber, a former race car driver who started the Skip Barber Racing School in 1975. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009. Jason LaPoint
Jason LaPoint (Born January 30, 1977 in Woodburn, Oregon) is a former racing driver. LaPoint won the 2001 USF2000 championship and also competed in Star Mazda and the Atlantic Championship. Career LaPoint participated in karting championships of the SKUSA and WKA starting in 1989. In 1995 and 1996 LaPoint won the IKF Grand National Championship in the Formula 125 class. After karting LaPoint moved into the Skip Barber National Championship Western Race Series in early November 1998. At Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca LaPoint finished his first race in fifth place. His first win was at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in early 1999. LaPoint finished fourteenth in the championship standings. World Karting Association
The World Karting Association, or WKA, is the largest sanctioning body for kart racing in North America. The WKA was founded in 1971 and is located directly behind Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The WKA is believed to currently have approximately 5,000 members. Over 50,000 people have been WKA members since the organization's inception in 1971.
