Bryan Petersen
Bryan E. Petersen (born April 9, 1986) is a former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Miami Marlins from 2010 to 2012. Early life Petersen was born in Agoura, California and graduated from Chatsworth High School in Chatsworth, California. He played college baseball at the University of California, Irvine. Professional career Florida/Miami Marlins Petersen was drafted by the Florida Marlins in the seventh round of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft out of the University of California, Irvine. Petersen was called up to the majors for the first time on May 6, 2010. He hit a single in his first career at bat and eventually scored a run. On July 20, 2011, Peterson pitched a hitless inning of relief, walking one batter, in a game against the San Diego Padres. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. As an outfielder, they normally play behind the six players located in the field. By convention, each of the nine defensive positions in baseball is numbered. The outfield positions are 7 (left field), 8 (center field) and 9 (right field). These numbers are shorthand designations useful in baseball scorekeeping and are not necessarily the same as the squad numbers worn on player uniforms. Douglas Slaten (February 4, 1980 – October 4, 2016) was an American professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 2006 to 2012 for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals, and Pittsburgh Pirates. The Round Rock Express are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.
