Bryan Mattison
Bryan Mattison (born May 15, 1984) is an American football center who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2008, and has also been a member of the Baltimore Ravens, St. Louis Rams, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football as a defensive end at Iowa. Mattison is the son of football coach Greg Mattison. Sister to the two-time Clinton Classic Mixed Division Champion, Lisa 'Mattison' Roberts. Early years Mattison was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, during his father's employment as an assistant football coach with Western Michigan University. Redshirt, in United States college athletics, is a delay or suspension of an athlete's participation in order to lengthen their period of eligibility. Typically, a student's athletic eligibility in a given sport is four seasons, aligning with the four years of academic classes typically required to earn a bachelor's degree at an American college or university. However, in a redshirt year, student athletes may attend classes at the college or university, practice with an athletic team, and "suit up" (wear a team uniform) for play – but they may compete in only a limited number of games (see " Use of status" section). Using this mechanism, a student athlete has at most five academic years to use the four years of eligibility, thus becoming what is termed a fifth-year senior. Indiana Hoosiers Football
The Indiana Hoosiers football program represents Indiana University Bloomington in NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision college football and in the Big Ten Conference. The Hoosiers have played their home games at Memorial Stadium since 1960. The team has won the Big Ten Championship twice, once in 1945 and again in 1967. Drew Tate (born October 8, 1984) is an American gridiron football coach and former player. He is the tight ends coach at the University of Northern Iowa, a position he had held since 2022. He played college football as a quarterback at the University of Iowa and was signed by the St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL) as an undrafted free agent in 2007. Tate has played professionally for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Calgary Stampeders and Ottawa Redblacks of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
