Bryan Linssen
Bryan Catharina Anna Petronella Linssen (born 8 October 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays for J1 League club Urawa Red Diamonds. He formerly played for Fortuna Sittard, MVV, VVV-Venlo, Heracles Almelo, FC Groningen, Vitesse and Feyenoord. Club career Linssen made his professional debut in 2008 for Fortuna Sittard, the club where he spent much of his youth. He went on to play for MVV, VVV-Venlo, Heracles Almelo and FC Groningen, before signing for Vitesse in 2017. Linssen scored 28 goals in 63 appearances in his first two Eredivisie seasons at the Arnhem club, an average of almost a goal every other match. He continued his fine form in front of goal last season, netting 14 times in 26 appearances before coronavirus hit and the Eredivisie was abandoned. Neeritter
Neeritter is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Leudal. History The village was first mentioned in 1143 as "aliam Iteram que dicitur nova", and means "lower lying stream". Neeritter developed in the Early Middle Ages along the Itterbeek. In 1584, a semi circular wall was built around the village to protect against the plundering armies during the Eighty Year's War. Between 1614 and 1795, it was part of the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. In 1839, the border between Netherlands and Belgium was defined, and the Borgitter Castle ended up in Kessenich, Belgium. The Catholic St Lambertus Church is a three aisled church which has 13th century elements. The tower was enlarged in 1842. The Armenmolen is watermill. Christian Joe Conteh (born 27 August 1999) is a German professional footballer who plays for club Eintracht Braunschweig. Career Conteh made his professional debut for FC St. Pauli in the 2. Bundesliga on 29 July 2019, scoring a goal in the away match against Arminia Bielefeld. In July 2020, Conteh joined Eredivisie club Feyenoord. It began on 6 August 2010 with the first matches of the season and ended on 29 May 2011 with the last matches of the European competition and relegation playoffs. 2009–10 Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie 2009–10 was the 54th season of the Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1956. The previous year's winners were VVV-Venlo; they, with runner-up RKC Waalwijk, after a promotion/relegation playoff win over De Graafschap, were promoted to the Eredivisie. Twenty teams took part: eighteen from the 2008-2009 season and relegated teams FC Volendam and De Graafschap. The season's champion was promoted to the Eredivisie, while eight other teams, the second- through fifth-place finishers and period winners, faced the Eredivisie's sixteenth- and seventeenth-place finishers in promotion/relegation playoffs. For the first time since 1971, Eerste Divisie clubs also faced relegation; the last- and second-to-last-place teams were relegated to the new Topklasse, in which the best teams from Dutch amateur football play. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. History The Eerste Divisie consists of 20 clubs, who play each other in a double round-robin league, with each club playing the other club home and away. Eerste Divisie 2008–09 began in August 2008 and concluded in May 2009, with the promotion playoffs. Sixteen clubs remained in the Eerste Divisie, whilst Excelsior and VVV-Venlo were relegated from the 2007–08 Eredivisie. VVV-Venlo won the league title and were promoted to the Eredivisie, the highest tier of football in the Netherlands, while eight other teams competed in a playoff with two Eredivisie sides for two Eredivisie places.
