Bryan Keating
Bryan Keating is the managing partner of the CIP partnership, visiting professor at the University of Ulster and chairman of the advisory board of the Northern Ireland Centre for Entrepreneurship in Belfast. In 2006, he was awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion. Keating was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2013 New Year Honours for services to economic development in Northern Ireland. Belfast ( , ; from ga, Béal Feirste , meaning 'mouth of the sand-bank ford') is the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, standing on the banks of the River Lagan on the east coast. Queen's Award For Enterprise Promotion (2006)
The Queen's Award for Enterprise Promotion is one of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise, and is awarded annually to people who play an outstanding role in promoting the growth of business enterprise and/or entrepreneurial skills in other people. It is bestowed by the Queen on the advice of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Recipients receive an engraved crystal glass commemorative item, a Grant of Appointment and are invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace. Officer Of The Order Of The British Empire
The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. It was established on 4 June 1917 by King George V and comprises five classes across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a knight if male or dame if female.
