Bryan J. Fletcher
Bryan Jamaile Fletcher (born March 23, 1979) is a former American football tight end. He played college football for University of California, Los Angeles, UCLA, and was drafted in the 6th round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. Fletcher won Super Bowl XLI with the Indianapolis Colts over the Bears. Bryan graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and later received a Master of Business Administration in Finance from The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. After college, Bryan spent several years in the National Football League where his career culminated in the 2006 Super Bowl championship with the Indianapolis Colts organization. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. In some systems, the tight end will merely act as a sixth offensive lineman, rarely going out for passes.
