Bryan Gilmore
Bryan Leonelle Gilmore (born January 21, 1978) is a former American football wide receiver. He played college football at Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas. Gilmore was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2000, and has also played for the Miami Dolphins and San Francisco 49ers. Early years Gilmore attended Lufkin High School and was a student and a letterman in football. In football, he won All-District honors. He graduated in 1996. The 2002 Arizona Cardinals season was the franchise’s 83rd year with the National Football League and 15th season in Arizona. It was Jake Plummer’s final season with the Cardinals as he went to the Denver Broncos in the 2003 off-season. This was the Cardinals' first season in the NFC West. 2002 NFL Season
The 2002 NFL season was the 83rd regular season of the National Football League. The league went back to an even number of teams with the addition of the Houston Texans; the league has remained static with 32 teams since. The clubs were realigned into eight divisions, four teams in each. Also, the Chicago Bears played their home games in 2002 in Champaign, Illinois at Memorial Stadium because of the reconstruction of Soldier Field. The NFL title was won by Tampa Bay when they defeated Oakland in Super Bowl XXXVII, at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California on January 26, 2003. The 2001 NFL season was the 82nd regular season of the National Football League (NFL), and the first season of the 21st century. The league permanently moved the first week of the regular season to the weekend following Labor Day. In the wake of the September 11 attacks, the NFL's week 2 games (September 16 and 17) were postponed and rescheduled to the weekend of January 6 and 7, 2002. To retain the full playoff format, all playoff games, including Super Bowl XXXVI, were rescheduled one week later.
