Bruno Scipioni (29 July 1934 – 5 December 2019) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Rome, Scipioni graduated in accountancy and then, in 1958, he attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. He started his film career with ''Kapò'' (1959) and he was particularly active during the 1960s, usually being cast as a character actor. He was also active on stage, in television series, in commercials and as voice actor. He was the father of voice actor Carlo Scipioni. ''Seduced and Abandoned'' ( it, Sedotta e abbandonata) is a 1964 Italian film directed by Pietro Germi. It was screened at the 1964 Cannes Film Festival. Plot The film presents the tale of Agnese Ascalone, daughter of prominent quarry owner Vincenzo Ascalone, and takes place in a small town in Sicily (specifically Sciacca), as did Germi's previous film, ''Divorce, Italian Style''. Agnese is seduced by her sister Matilde's fiancé, and has a tryst with him for which she confesses and tries to repent, only to be discovered by her mother and father. Vincenzo immediately demands that the man, Peppino Califano, marry his daughter, and antics ensue. The film is a dark satire of Sicilian social customs and honor laws, and is very similar to ''Divorce, Italian Style''. ''La ragazza di Bube'' is a 1963 Italian crime film drama directed by Luigi Comencini and starring Claudia Cardinale and George Chakiris. ''Hercules Against the Mongols'' ( it, Maciste contro i mongoli, lit=Maciste Against the Mongols) is a 1963 Italian '' ''peplum'' film directed by Domenico Paolella. Plot The heirs of Genghis Khan conquered the city of Tudela and took prisoner Bianca (José Greci), the daughter of the king. Hercules (Maciste (Mark Forest) in the original version of the film) is sent to the rescue. Though Genghis Khan eventually sought peace with the West, his death in 1227 AD puts into power his three war-like sons: Sayan, Susdal, and Kin Khan. These sons quickly overrun the city of Tuleda and take prisoner Princess Bianca, though young Prince Alessio escapes. Hercules comes to the rescue of Bianca, winning her freedom in a tournament in exchange for becoming a slave himself.
