Bruno Romo
Bruno Sebastián Romo Rojas (born 20 May 1989) is a Chilean footballer that currently plays as a defender for Unión La Calera. Before re-joining Colo-Colo, Romo played for Palestino and Santiago Wanderers, in where the player had a great performance at the first club mentioned. He played for the Chilean national U20 national team in the 2009 South American Youth Championship held in Venezuela. Romo was named in Chile's preliminary 30-man squad for the 2011 Copa América on 27 May 2011, although he was eventually omitted from the final 23-man squad on 28 June. Deportes Antofagasta is a Chilean football club based in the city of Antofagasta currently playing in the Campeonato Nacional. The club's home stadium is the Estadio Bicentenario Calvo y Bascuñán, which has a capacity of 21,178. History The club was founded on May 14, 1966, when the amateur clubs ''Unión Bellavista'' and ''Portuario Atacama'' merged. The team's original name was ''Club de Deportes Antofagasta Portuario''. The team's first manager was Luis Santibañez, future manager of the Chilean National Team. The team finished 10th in its first league season. The 2011 Campeonato Sudamericano Copa América, better known as the 2011 Copa América or the Copa América 2011 Argentina, was the 43rd edition of the Copa América, the main international football tournament for national teams in South America. The competition was organized by CONMEBOL, South America's football governing body, and was held in Argentina from 1 to 24 July. The draw for the tournament was held in La Plata on 11 November 2010. Uruguay won the tournament after defeating Paraguay 3–0 in the final, giving them a record 15th Copa América title and their first since 1995. Hugo Tocalli
Hugo Daniel Tocalli (born 21 January 1948) is an Argentine former professional football player and coach. He played over 400 games as a goalkeeper, and went on to coach a number of clubs as well as the Argentina under-20 team. Playing career Tocalli started his playing career in 1970 with Deportivo Morón. In 1971, he joined Nueva Chicago where he played until 1974. In 1975, Tocalli started his first spell with Quilmes before moving to Argentinos Juniors in 1977 where he was a teammate of the young Diego Maradona. Tocalli returned to Quilmes in 1978 and was part of the team that won the Metropolitano championship in 1978. He stayed with the club until 1983. Tocalli had short spells with Unión de Santa Fe and Atlanta before retiring in 1985. Marcelo Pablo Barticciotto Cicaré (born 1 January 1967) is an Argentine-Chilean former footballer and manager. Club career In 1987, Barticciotto made his professional debut with Huracán of the National B Division in Argentina. Barticciotto arrived to Chilean club Colo-Colo in 1988, where he would become an idol to supporters. Barticciotto won seven national championships and three international championships in twelve years with the club. The most important of those championships was the Copa Libertadores 1991, where he scored three goals. Colo-Colo is the only Chilean team to ever win the Copa Libertadores. After these accomplishments, Barticciotto signed for Club América in Mexico. Everton de Viña del Mar is a Chilean football club based in the city of Viña del Mar. The club was founded 24 June 1909 after a group of Anglo-Chilean teenagers formed a football club and named it after the English team Everton who had recently completed a pioneering tour of South America. Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club. They compete in Chile's Primera División league. History Amateur era Ñublense was formed in 1916 by a group of teenagers (led by Chillán teacher Manuel Lara Gutiérrez) who founded a sports club as a haven for sports activities in the city. 2006 Copa Sudamericana
The 2006 Copa Sudamericana de Clubes, officially the 2006 Copa Nissan Sudamericana de Clubes for sponsorship reasons, was an international football championship competition that was played by 34 teams in total, including 31 CONMEBOL teams and also three invited teams from CONCACAF. Pachuca won their first title in history after defeating Colo-Colo tying 1–1 in the first leg in Mexico, and winning 2–1 in Chile. Pachuca only lost one game in the tournament, against Colombian Deportes Tolima 2–1 in their debut.
