Bruno Prada
Bruno Prada (born 31 July 1971 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian sailor. After sailing Optimists until the age of 14, he moved to the Laser class, where he was Brazilian and South American Junior champion and 7th at Youth Worlds in 1989, and the Snipe class, where he achieved a second place at the Brazilian Junior Nationals, and was 11th at the Junior Worlds in 1988. In 1989, he changed to the Finn class, becoming Brazilian national champion in 1993, 1997 and 1998, and winning a bronze medal at the 1999 Pan American Games. He won a silver medal in the Star class with Robert Scheidt at the 2008 Summer Olympics and a bronze in the same category with the same partner at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The sport of sailing involves a variety of competitive sailing formats that are sanctioned through various sailing federations and yacht clubs. The Snipe is an American sailing dinghy that was designed by William F. Crosby as a one design Sailing (sport), racer and first built in 1931. The boat is a World Sailing recognized international class. Sailboatdata.com summarizes the design as "one of the most popular sailing dinghies ever. Mateusz Kusznierewicz (born 29 April 1975 in Warsaw) is a Polish sailor, specialising in the Finn and Star classes. His first sailing success came in 1985, where he won the Puchar Spójni at the Zalew Zegrzyński in Warsaw. Most recently, he competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, winning a bronze medal in the Finn. For his sport achievements, he received the Order of Polonia Restituta: Knight's Cross (5th Class) in 1996, Officer's Cross (4th Class) in 2004.
