Bruno Patacas
Bruno Alexandre dos Santos Patacas (born 30 November 1977) is a Portuguese retired professional footballer who played as a right-back. After starting his career with Sporting CP, he went on to represent other clubs before settling with Nacional, where he remained for nearly one decade whilst appearing in almost 300 competitive matches. Club career A Sporting CP youth graduate, Patacas was born in Vila Franca de Xira, Lisbon. He spent his first professional season with farm team S.C. Lourinhanense, not being very successful upon his return to the '' alma mater'' (three games during parts of 1997–98 and four more in the following, while also spending time at Lourinhanense). Vila Franca De Xira
Vila Franca de Xira () is a city and municipality in the Lisbon District in Portugal. The population in 2021 was 137,659, in an area of 318.19 km2. Situated on both banks of the Tagus River, 32 km north-east of the Portuguese capital Lisbon, settlement in the area dates back to neolithic times, as evidenced by findings in the Cave of Pedra Furada. Vila Franca de Xira is said to have been founded by French followers of Portugal's first king, Afonso Henriques, around 1200. The town is mostly famous for its bull-running festivals in July and October. Bulls are raised in the salty marshlands of the Ribatejo, which is also a notable breeding ground for the magnificent Lusitano horse, esteemed for its quick reflexes and maneuverability. Luís Filipe Santos Pinto (born 12 June 1982) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Lisbon, Pinto started out at G.D. Estoril Praia in the lower leagues, and only reached the Segunda Liga at the age of 28 after signing for Moreirense F.C. in the summer of 2010. He went to appear in 205 games in the competition over the course of seven seasons, scoring a total of 44 goals for that club, F.C. Arouca, G.D. Chaves and S.C. Covilhã. In the 2015–16 campaign, Pinto netted five times in 31 appearances, helping Chaves to return to the Primeira Liga after 17 years. Late into the 2017 January transfer window, the 34-year-old returned to the third division and joined S.C.U. Torreense. The 2010–11 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga ZON Sagres for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. It began on 15 August 2010 and ended on 14 May 2011. A total of 16 teams contested the league, 14 of which already took part in the previous season and two of which were promoted from the Liga de Honra.
