Bruno Méndez López (born 16 April 1990 in La Roda, Asturias) is a Spanish racing driver. Career Master Junior Formula After a short karting career, Méndez begun his single–seater career in the Master Junior Formula in 2006, winning six races to finish as series runner–up behind fellow Spaniard Daniel Campos-Hull. Formula Three In 2007, Méndez graduated to Formula Three, racing in the Spanish Formula Three Championship for the emiliodevillota.com team. He finished his maiden season seventh in the standings after taking podium places at Estoril and Jerez. He remained in the series for a second season in 2008, this time switching to the Escuderia TEC-Auto team. The Masaryk circuit ( cz, Masarykův okruh) or Masarykring, also referred to as the Brno Circuit, refers to two motorsport race tracks located in Brno, Czech Republic. The original street circuit was made up of public roads, and at its longest measured . In 1949, events such as the Czechoslovakian Grand Prix attracted top teams and drivers. The track is named after the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. Racing on the old roads ended after 1986, when the new (current) circuit was opened. 2008 Spanish Formula Three Season
The 2008 Spanish Formula Three Championship was the eighth Spanish Formula Three Championship season. It commenced on May 3, 2008 and ended on November 2. The Spanish driver Germán Sánchez was crowned champion, two points ahead of runner-up Nelson Panciatici, who was driving an older 'B-class' car. The title was decided in favour of Sánchez and Natacha Gachnang after the resolution of various claims. Panciatici was disqualified for using duct tape on the wings of the car, a common technique in this championship, which does not influence the behavior of the vehicle or guarantee any improvement according to a press release from Hache Team. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Gené won the championship and García finished fifth, with Campos taking the teams title. Gené stepped up to Formula One in , and his place in the team was taken by karting driver Fernando Alonso. Alonso went on to win the Euro Open Movistar by Nissan as it was renamed, with García finishing fifth again and Campos retaining the teams title. The Circuito del Jarama (Circuit of Jarama), formerly known as ''Circuito Permanente del Jarama'' (Permanent circuit of Jarama) is a motorsport racetrack located in San Sebastián de los Reyes, 20 miles (32 km) north of Madrid. Escuderia TEC-Auto is a racing team from Spain. It was founded in 2003 after the acquisition by Carlos Cosidó and Paul South of the Azteca Motor Sport. In 2004 the team changed its name and appears for the first time with the denomination of TEC Auto. That year the drivers were the Argentinian Ricardo Risatti and the Dutch Ferdinand Kool. The 2006 was the year of the first title thanks to the Argentinian Risatti, but the team still failed the victory in the Teams Championship, coming second, only behind Racing Engineering. Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto (formerly known as Circuit of Jerez and Circuito Permanente de Jerez), is a racing circuit located close to the city of Jerez de la Frontera, south of Seville and deep within the sherry-producing region in the south of Spain. Emilio de Villota Ruíz (born 26 July 1946) is a former racing driver from Spain, born in Madrid. He entered 15 Formula One World Championship Grands Prix between 1976 and 1982, qualifying twice. Daniel Campos-Hull (born 3 August 1989 in Barcelona) is a Spanish race car driver. His father is Spanish and his mother English. Career Campos-Hull began his career in open wheel motor racing in 2006, racing mostly in the German Formula BMW and Italian Formula Renault championships coming 18th and 23rd respectively. The Spaniard also had two starts in the Formula Renault Eurocup at the second meeting of the season at the Istanbul Park in Turkey. For 2007, Campos-Hull entered his second season of German Formula BMW. The young Spaniard impressed, taking four podiums in the first six races before winning both races at the fourth meeting at the Nürburgring. Campos-Hull finished second in that year's championship to Jens Klingmann.
