Brunei DPMM FC
Duli Pengiran Muda Mahkota Football Club (His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Brunei Football Club in English, commonly known as DPMM FC) is a professional football club based in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. The club played in the Brunei Premier League in the early 2000s, winning the league title in 2002 and 2004. The club then decided to play in Malaysia, and joined the Malaysian Premier League as a foreign-based team in for the 2005–06 season. They won promotion to the Malaysian Super League (the top tier of Malaysian football) at the end of their first season in Malaysian football, and then finished 3rd and 10th in the following two season in the Super League. The club then left the Malaysian league and joined Singapore's S.League for the 2009 season. Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium
Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. It is currently used mostly for association football matches. The stadium holds 28,000 and was opened on 23 September 1983. It was named after Bruneian Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Construction Unusually for a public building in Brunei, members of the public donated and contributed towards the building of the stadium. Although the final collection of $1,102,761.57 accounted for a little more than 1.1 percent of the total building cost ($100 million), the public participation showed the Bruneians' great interest and support for this project. Warriors Football Club is a Singaporean professional football club that played in the Singapore Premier League, the top division of football in Singapore. The Singapore Cup is an annual knockout football competition in men's domestic Singaporean football. Established in 1998, it is the foremost football cup competition in the country. It is open to clubs in the Singapore Premier League. Since 2005, foreign teams from other countries in Southeast Asia are occasionally invited to compete in the Singapore Cup. History Early days The Brunei State Amateur Football Association was formed in 1952 in Seria, Brunei. It was formally registered to the Registrar of Soceities in 1956, and afterwards joined FIFA in 1969 as the Brunei Amateur Football Association or simply BAFA, which it was still referred to as until its final days even after the dropping of 'Amateur' from its name in 1993. The Brunei FA Cup is Brunei's premier knockout tournament in men's football. The current format is administered by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) since 2012.
