Brujos de Guayama is a Puerto Rican professional basketball team of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional based in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Despite being in the league since 1971, the team has not won any BSN Championships but have made 2 finals appearances being a runner-up 2 times (1991, 1994). History The team was founded in 1971. In the 1991 season the Brujos' lost to the Atleticos de San German in the finals. In the 1994 season the Brujos' again lost to the Atleticos de San German in the finals. Baloncesto Superior Nacional
The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, abbreviated as BSN, is the first-tier-level professional men's basketball league in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1929 and is organized by the Puerto Rican Basketball Federation. The Baloncesto Superior Nacional, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of 12 teams, of which the most successful has been the Vaqueros de Bayamón with 16 titles as of 2022. The league has produced players that have distinguished themselves in the NBA, EuroLeague, Spain's ACB, and other tournaments throughout the world. Among them, Georgie Torres was the first Puerto Rican to sign an NBA contract & Butch Lee was the first BSN player to win an NBA title. Guayama (, ), officially the Autonomous Municipality of Guayama ( es, Municipio Autónomo de Guayama) is a city and municipality on the Caribbean coast of Puerto Rico. Kyle Gibson (basketball)
Kyle Edward Gibson (born May 22, 1987) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Hapoel Galil Elyon of the Israeli Premier League. He played college basketball for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Biography He played college basketball at Louisiana Tech (2006–2010). Gibson signed with Budućnost on July 6, 2017. He inked with Beşiktaş on August 28, 2018. On August 20, 2019, he signed with Boulazac Basket Dordogne of the LNB Pro A. Gibson averaged 11.8 points and 2.6 assists per game. On November 6, 2020, he signed with Śląsk Wrocław of the Polish Basketball League. Gibson joined the Brujos de Guayama in Puerto Rico in 2021, but left the team in August. Hapoel Galil Elyon ( he, הפועל גליל עליון), also known as Hapoel Nofar Energy Galil Elion for sponsorship reasons, is an Israeli basketball club. The team competes in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, the top tier of Israeli basketball, and internationally in the Balkan League. The team represents the northern region of the country – the Upper Galilee, and the Golan Heights.
