Bruck Dawit is an Ethiopian–American musician, music producer, record mixer, composer and author. Musical Bruck Dawit and his writing partner the singer France Gall, wrote the musical ''Résiste''. Rodney Crowell (born August 7, 1950) is an American musician, known primarily for his work as a singer and songwriter in country music. Crowell has had five number one singles on Hot Country Songs, all from his 1988 album '' Diamonds & Dirt''. He has also written songs and produced for other artists. He was influenced by songwriters Guy Clark and Townes Van Zandt. Crowell played guitar and sang for three years in Emmylou Harris' Hot Band. He has won two Grammy Awards in his career, one in 1990 for Best Country Song for the song " After All This Time" and one in 2014 Best Americana Album for his album ''Old Yellow Moon''. Tribe was an American alternative rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States, which was active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They released three albums including two on Slash Records/Warner Bros. Records. They were finalists in the 1988 WBCN Rock 'n' Roll Rumble. Dionne Yvette Farris (born December 4, 1969) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer. Born and raised in New Jersey, she began singing in elementary school and competed in pageants as a teenager. In the early 1990s, she was featured on the hip hop group Arrested Development (1992) hit single "Tennessee". Farris rose to fame with the release of her debut album, ''Wild Seed - Wild Flower'' (1994) on Columbia Records. The album featured the Top 40 single, " I Know" (1995).
