Bruce Paige
Bruce Paige (born 10 November 1948) is a former newsreader in Brisbane, Australia. He previously presented '' Nine Gold Coast News'' alongside Eva Milic. He previously co-presented ''Nine News Queensland'' alongside Melissa Downes, having paired with Jillian Whiting and Heather Foord in the past. Career First coming to prominence on television reading the ABC bulletin, Paige's career at the station began in January 1971, before he moved to Channel Nine in 1985. He left Nine in 1990 for Network Ten, but had soon moved back to his native Townsville, reading the local news there for three years. In 1994, Paige returned to Nine's statewide news as a weekend newsreader, and by 1995 was back in the weeknight position. ''The Sunday Mail'' is a newspaper published on Sunday in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is Brisbane's only Sunday newspaper. ''The Sunday Mail'' is published in tabloid format, comprising several sections that can be extracted and read separately. It is available for purchase throughout Queensland, most regions of Northern New South Wales and parts of the Northern Territory. Publishing The newspaper is published by Queensland Newspapers, part of News Corp Australia, whose parent company is News Corp. Marie-Louise Theile (born 1966) is a former Australian news presenter. She presented '' Ten News at Five'' in Brisbane and Melbourne. She is currently the Director of New Initiative - a niche branding, marketing and place making creative agency with a particular emphasis on property and precinct developments. Born in Brisbane Theile graduated at the University of Queensland. Theile worked as a reporter for ''The Sun'', before she moved to New York City where she worked at Elle magazine. She then spent time in the New York Bureau of Brisbane's Sunday Sun and the Adelaide News. Glenn Taylor is an Australian Logie Award-winning former television presenter. He is best known for co-anchoring ''Seven News'' on HSV-7 in Melbourne from 1988 to 1991 and ''Ten News'' on TVQ-10 in Brisbane from 1992 to 1998. Career Taylor commenced his media career at ABC Radio Adelaide in the late 1960's. He moved into television in the mid 1970's, appearing on the ABC's Adelaide television station ABS-2, presenting ''Today at One'' and reporting for ''This Day Tonight''. ''10 News First'' is an Australian television newscast, produced by Network 10. The network's ninety-minute long news program airs at 5pm each evening covering local, national and world news, including sport and weather. Weekend editions are presented nationally from Network 10's studios in Pyrmont, Sydney. Don Seccombe (television Presenter)
Donald Alexander Leslie Seccombe (22 February 1931 - 30 December 1993) was an Australian Logie Award-winning television presenter. He is best known for his association with QTQ-9 in Brisbane where he worked from 1962 to 1985. During this time, Seccombe anchored ''Nine News'', hosted the game show ''I've Got a Secret'' and presented documentaries. When he was paired with Melody Iliffe on ''Nine News'' in the 1960's, it's believed they formed the first male/female newsreading duo in Australia, which is still seen on many news bulletins throughout Australia. Seccombe is often remembered for his coverage of the 1974 Brisbane flood. In one piece to camera at a flood damaged home, Seccombe was left on the verge of tears as he surveyed a private library of books which were destroyed by floodwaters. Andrew Lofthouse
Andrew Lofthouse (born 1962 or 1963) is a television and radio newsreader based in Brisbane, Australia. The former teacher is the weeknight presenter of ''Nine News Queensland'' with Melissa Downes, having previously presented on weekends. Prior to working at ''Nine News'', he presented the weekday evening news bulletin of '' ABC News Queensland'', as well as reading the news on the 612 ABC Brisbane radio station on weekday afternoons. Lofthouse started his broadcasting career at a community radio station on the Gold Coast and began working for ABC Radio (in Rockhampton) in 1990.
