Bruce Hall (musician)
Bruce William Hall (born May 3, 1953) is an American musician, best known for his work as the bass guitarist, backing and occasional lead vocalist for the rock band REO Speedwagon. He joined the band in 1977, performing on the album, '' You Can Tune a Piano but You Can't Tuna Fish'' released the following year. He replaced Gregg Philbin. Of the five members that constituted the band upon his joining (and who were the only members until 1988), he, Kevin Cronin, and Neal Doughty still remain as of summer of 2022, each having continuously remained as main players. Bruce Hall is a legally blind photographer and parent of twins with severe autism. Some of his work is stored in the Library of Congress. Hall has stated that he takes pictures in order to be able to see the world more clearly. Hall has about 5% normal eyesight and severe nystagmus. Fast accurate focusing is his number one priority, and he uses many unique workarounds to achieve the ability to take pictures. Hall's favorite photography subjects are underwater photography, nature photography, and pictures of his twin boys. He strongly advocates for awareness for the challenges surrounding severe autism. Agent Steel
Agent Steel is an American speed metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1984 by vocalist John Cyriis with drummer Chuck Profus. The band released two full-length albums and one EP before disbanding in 1988. They were most notable for Cyriis' high-pitched vocals, catchy songs, melodic riffs, and fast tempos mixed in with interest in UFOs. Agent Steel reformed in 1998 (without Cyriis, although he would return to the band in 2010, only to leave again in 2011) and released three more full-length albums before going on hiatus in 2011. Bruce Hall is a residential college of the Australian National University (ANU), in Canberra, Australia. Opened in 1961, the original Bruce Hall was a campus landmark and housed both the first undergraduate hall of residence at the university and the first in Australia to admit both men and women. Schenley Quadrangle is a cluster of University of Pittsburgh ("Pitt") residence halls that is a Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historic Landmark and are contributing properties to the Schenley Farms National Historic District in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. The five residence halls are the former historic Schenley Apartments, designed by Henry Hornbostel with collaboration from Rutan & Russell and Eric Fisher Wood, for developer Franklin Nicola; they were built between 1922 and 1924 at a cost of more than $4.5 million ($ in dollars). Originally, the Schenley Apartments were home of Pittsburgh's well-to-do (including for a time their architect Henry Hornbostel) and consisted of 1,113 rooms in 238 apartments across the five buildings.
