Brown Deer Middle/High School is a high school on North 60th Street, Brown Deer, Wisconsin, USA. It serves approximately 800 students in grades 7 through 12. Sports The school's sports teams are known as "The Falcons". The school is part of the Woodland Conference. Formerly in the Parkland Conference, the Falcons moved to the Woodland Conference after the 2005–2006 school year. Their most recent state championship was in boys' track in 2008, and their most recent conference championship was in boys' football during the 2010–2011 season, with recent conference championships in boys' football and basketball in 2007–2008. Brown Deer is a village in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. As a suburb of Milwaukee, it is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The population was 12,507 at the 2020 census. History The Brown Deer area was organized as part of the Town of Milwaukee in 1835, and the first white settlers began arriving around that time from New England and New York, including some settlers from Granville, New York. In 1841, the Town of Milwaukee was subdivided and the Brown Deer area became part of the new Town of Granville. In the 1800s, the town was a predominantly agricultural community, and many residents were of German and Irish extraction. Zack Baun (born December 30, 1996) is an American football outside linebacker for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). Diane Schwerm Sykes (née Diane Elizabeth Schwerm; born December 23, 1957) is an American jurist and lawyer who serves as the chief judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. New Berlin Eisenhower Middle/High School is a combination middle school and high school located in New Berlin, Wisconsin, United States. Pewaukee is a city in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. The population was 13,195 at the 2010 census. The Village of Pewaukee, which was incorporated out of the town before it incorporated as a city, is surrounded by the city. The name of the city of Pewaukee comes from that of the name of the village, which is rather unclear in itself. Many names are given as to the etymology of the name.
