Richard Woolley (filmmaker)
Richard Woolley (born 1948) is a British filmmaker, whose films received recognition in the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1990 he has primarily concentrated on film-related educational activities, and script and novel writing. Life He was educated at London University, where he co-directed a documentary on attitudes to homosexuality in the aftermath of the UK's Sexual Offences Act 1967, and at the Royal College of Art, where he made a series of experimental shorts. He further developed his cinematic skills whilst on a DAAD artist's bursary in West Berlin, and his two Berlin films – along with a further UK-based film – looked at the relationship of sound and image and the nature of cinematic manipulation in the contexts of 70s Germany (East and West) and 70s Britain. Mavis Pugh
Mavis Gladys Fox Pugh (25 June 1914 – 6 December 2006) was a British actress who made many appearances (typically playing upper-class women) in several sitcoms including ''Dad's Army'', ''Are You Being Served?'' and ''Fawlty Towers''. Her best known role was as Lady Lavender Southwick in all four series of ''You Rang, M'Lord?''. Before appearing on television, she had a long and successful career in repertory theatre, including with the Arthur Brough Players. Early life Pugh was born in Croydon, Surrey in 1914. Her father was a London solicitor, and her acting talent was first noticed while performing in school plays at Downs College in Folkestone, Kent. Pugh won a scholarship to the International School of Acting. Jensen was drafted 150th overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Jensen was born on September 21, 1990, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. His father Jeff played college hockey at Lake Superior State and was a Colorado Rockies draft pick. His uncle Steve Jensen played for the Minnesota North Stars and Los Angeles Kings. Playing career Amateur Jensen played college hockey with the St. Cloud State Huskies in the NCAA Men's Division I WCHA conference.
