''Brother and Sister'' ( es, Dos hermanos; ) is a 2010 Argentine comedy film directed by Daniel Burman. Plot The film tells the story of two brothers who have a love-hate relationship. The recent death of his mother will increase the conflicts between the two. The story takes place in Buenos Aires in Argentina and then moves to the small town of Carmelo, in the Uruguayan department of Colonia. Daniel Burman (born 29 August 1973, in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine film director, screenplay writer, and producer. According to film critic Joel Poblete, who writes for ''Mabuse'', a cinema magazine, Daniel Burman is one of the members of the so-called "New Argentina Cinema", which began ''circa'' 1998. Film critic Anthony Kaufman, writing for ''indieWIRE'', an online community of independent filmmakers and aficionados, said Burman's '' A Chrysanthemum Burst in Cincoesquinas'' (1998) has been cited as the beginning of the " New Argentine Cinema" wave. Antonio Gasalla (born March 9, 1941) is an Argentine actor, comedian, and theatre director. Life and work Antonio Gasalla was born in Ramos Mejía, a western suburb of Buenos Aires, in 1941. He enrolled at the National Dramatic Arts Conservatory, and began his work in Buenos Aires' vibrant theatre scene in 1964 as an understudy, by which he befriended a colleague, Uruguayan émigré Carlos Perciavalle. He and Perciavalle starred in their production of María Inés Quesada's ''Help Valentino!''
