Broomfield High School
Broomfield High School is a public high school in Broomfield, Colorado, part of the Boulder Valley School District. History In 1961, a junior and senior high school opened at 14th and Daphne to serve students within the newly incorporated city of Broomfield. High school classes at the school had begun in the fall of 1964. While remodeled several times in the intervening years, the original buildings are part of the present Broomfield High School. From June 2008 to August 2009, the school underwent an extensive $27 million renovation, where in most of the original junior high school portion of the school was replaced with a modern two-story structure. Boulder Valley School District
The Boulder Valley School District No. Re2 is a school district in Colorado, headquartered in the BVSD Education Center in unincorporated Boulder County, near Boulder. The district serves Boulder, Gold Hill, Jamestown, Lafayette, Louisville, Nederland, Superior, and Ward. Its area also includes portions of Broomfield and Erie. The Boulder Valley Board of Education officially appointed Rob Anderson to be the superintendent on July 1, 2018. Anderson previously was the Deputy Superintendent of Academics in the Fulton County School System. Anderson has been an educator since 1997 having previously worked in the State of Florida before Georgia. Bald Eagle
The bald eagle (''Haliaeetus leucocephalus'') is a bird of prey found in North America. A sea eagle, it has two known subspecies and forms a species pair with the white-tailed eagle (''Haliaeetus albicilla''), which occupies the same niche as the bald eagle in the Palearctic. Its range includes most of Canada and Alaska, all of the contiguous United States, and northern Mexico. It is found near large bodies of open water with an abundant food supply and old-growth trees for nesting. Legacy High School is a high school located in Broomfield, Colorado that opened in 2000. It is within the Adams 12 Five Star Schools District. The school had 2,406 students for the 2018/2019 school year. Academic programs The school offers Advanced Placement classes. Broomfield is a consolidated city and county located in the U.S. state of Colorado. Broomfield has a consolidated government which operates under Article XX, Sections 10-13 of the Constitution of the State of Colorado. Brandon David Keith Bailey (born October 19, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Houston Astros. Amateur career Bailey attended Broomfield High School in Broomfield, Colorado, and he pitched for the school's baseball team. As a junior, he had a 10–0 win–loss record and a 1.02 earned run average and 107 strikeouts. Gustav Olofsson (born 1 December 1994) is a Swedish professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for the Coachella Valley Firebirds in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL).
