Brooke Allison (album)
''Brooke Allison'' is the debut and only to date studio album by American pop singer Brooke Allison, released on June 19, 2001. The album includes songs written by Mýa, Meredith Brooks and Allan Rich. Allison appeared on a number of TV programs to promote it, including Nickelodeon's ''Slime Time Live''. The music video of "The Kiss-Off (Goodbye)", was often the Nick Video Pick of the Day, also on Nickelodeon. The album failed to chart on any major charts and was also negatively received by critics. Consequently promotion for the album was interrupted and Allison was dropped in mid-2002. "The Kiss-Off (Goodbye)" was the only single and reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 Sales chart when a CD single was issued,. She has not released any further solo material, but went on to become a member of the girl group BG5, who released several singles before disbanding. ''Taina'' is an American teen sitcom created by Maria Perez-Brown. It ran on Nickelodeon from January 14, 2001, to May 11, 2002. Career Edwards started in radio while in high school. After high school he continued into television, working as a live booth announcer. Mark Portmann is a musician, songwriter, and record producer who has worked with Celine Dion and Josh Groban. Portman began to learn classical piano as a child, but beginning at Coconut Creek High School he turned to pop music and jazz.
