Joseph Brookbank, Brooksbank, or Brookesbank (born 1612) was an English cleric and schoolmaster. Life Brookbank was the son of George Brookbank of Halifax; at Michaelmas term 1632, when he entered Brasenose College, Oxford as a batler (poor scholar), he was aged twenty. He graduated B.A. and took orders. In the Bodleian is the printed petition to the king, in September 1647, from John Brookbank and thirty-three other ministers, expelled from Ireland by the rebels. This John is probably identical with the subject of this article, who is called John on the title-pages of his ''Vitis Salutaris'' (1650) and ''Compleat School-Master'' (1660). In 1650 Brookbank described himself as "at present preacher of the word" at West Wycombe (he spells it Wickham). Buckinghamshire. Kilee Brookbank
Kilee Brookbank (born June 2, 1998) is an American burn survivor, author and fundraiser for burn treatment from Georgetown, Ohio. She is the author of the books ''Beautiful Scars'' and ''Digger the Hero Dog'' and the founder of the nonprofit Kilee Gives Back Foundation. Accident On November 10, 2014, Brookbank suffered burns on 45 percent of her body when her home erupted in flames caused by a gas leak. Kilee had returned from Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington High School and smelled a foul odor. When she lit a candle to cover the smell, the house exploded around her. Brookbank was knocked out in the explosion but came to after persistent barking by her dog. She ran outside and was helped by neighbors. Brookbank was taken to Shriners Hospitals for Children-Cincinnati, where she received treatment for 38 days, followed by extensive physical therapy. Sheldon Brookbank
Sheldon W. Brookbank (born October 3, 1980) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was the assistant coach of the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL) under Jeremy Colliton. Playing career Brookbank played three seasons with the Humboldt Broncos of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, before turning pro. He played one season with the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the ECHL, and then played two seasons with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. Brookbank was then signed by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, and played two seasons with their AHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. He was not re-signed, and in August 2005, he signed a contract with the Predators.
