Bronze Bauhinia Star
The Bronze Bauhinia Star (, BBS) is the lowest rank in Order of the Bauhinia Star in Hong Kong, created in 1997 to replace the British honours system of the Order of the British Empire after the transfer of sovereignty to People's Republic of China and the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). It is awarded to persons who have given outstanding service over a long period of time, but in a more limited field or way than that required for the Silver Bauhinia Star. Lo King-man (; born 1937) is a Hong Kong performing artist and director. He is dubbed as the "Father of Hong Kong Opera". He is also the former vice-chairman of the Urban Council from 1990 to 1995, as well as member of the various public advisory boards including the member of the Hong Kong Basic Law Consultative Committee from 1985 to 1990. Kennedy Wong Ying-ho BBS, JP (born 23 February 1963 in Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong solicitor. He is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Hong Kong. Ng Cho-nam (, August 15, 1960 – December 13, 2019), , was a Hong Kong environmental studies scholar and conservationist who taught as an associate professor within the Department of Geography at the University of Hong Kong. Ir Patrick Se Kit Yuen BBS, MH 袁士傑 (6 July 1932 – 6 May 2011), was a professional Hong Kong engineer, involved in the production and management of industrial gases in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
