Broken In
''Broken In'' is the third album by American country music singer Trent Willmon. It was released in February 2008 on the independent Compadre Records label. None of its singles—the title track, "There Is a God" or "Cold Beer and a Fishing Pole"—entered the Hot Country Songs chart. The track "It Doesn't Mean I Don't Love You" was previously recorded by the duo McHayes, whose version from their unreleased 2003 album ''Lessons in Lonely'' was a number 41-peaking country single in 2003. Two of the album's songs were later recorded by other artists. Jason Aldean released " The Truth" as a single from his 2009 album '' Wide Open''. Lee Ann Womack released "There Is a God" in November 2009, though it was not subsequently featured on an album. Trent Willmon
Trent Willmon (born March 6, 1973) is an American country music artist, songwriter, and producer. Active since 1998 as a songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee, Willmon was signed to Columbia Records in 2004. He released two albums for the label (2004's ''Trent Willmon'' and 2006's '' A Little More Livin''') and charted six singles on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Country Songs charts before exiting Columbia in 2006. A third album, entitled '' Broken In'', was released on the independent Compadre label in February 2008. Musical career Willmon was born in Amarillo, Texas and was raised on a ranch near Afton, Texas. Rodney Dale Clawson (born in Gruver, Texas, United States) is an American country music songwriter. Clawson has written singles recorded by Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Faith Hill, George Strait and Luke Bryan, among others. Biography Clawson was raised in Gruver, Texas. Through the encouragement of his friend and former student John Rich, Clawson signed to his publishing contract in 2000. His first hit as a songwriter was "I Can't Be Your Friend" by Rushlow.
