Brock O'Brien
Brock O'Brien (born 30 May 1988) is an Australian rules footballer in the Australian Football League. He plays as a midfielder or defender and was selected by the Fremantle Football Club with selection 52 in the 2006 AFL National Draft. O'Brien made his senior debut for Peel Thunder in the West Australian Football League in 2005 as a 16-year-old alongside his older brother, Rory O'Brien. He represented Western Australia in the national under 16 championships in 2004 and the national under 18 championships in both 2005 and 2006. He is also a graduate of the AIS/AFL academy and was a member of the national under 17 team which played against Ireland when they toured in 2006. He made his AFL debut in the final round of the 2007 season, when Fremantle suspended six players for off-field indiscretions, including mid-week drinking of alcohol and a missing training session. The Peel Thunder Football Club is an Australian rules football club playing in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW). The team is based in Mandurah, Western Australia, with their home ground being Rushton Park. The club joined the WAFL as an expansion team in 1997. Football Park, known commercially as AAMI Stadium, was an Australian rules football stadium located in West Lakes, a western suburb of Adelaide, the state capital of South Australia, Australia. It was built in 1973 by the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) and opened in 1974. Rory O'Brien (Australian Rules Footballer)
Rory O'Brien (born 28 June 1986) is an Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Peel Thunder Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL). He is the older brother of Brock O'Brien. O'Brien made his league debut for Peel Thunder in round 1 of the 2005 season and was voted the club's best and fairest player in 2006. He spent the 2008 season at North Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League, before returning to Peel Thunder in 2009.
