Monarchism is the advocacy of the system of monarchy or monarchical rule. A monarchist is an individual who supports this form of government independently of any specific monarch, whereas one who supports a particular monarch is a royalist. Conversely, the opposition to monarchical rule is referred to as republicanism. Thomas James Mace-Archer-Mills (born Thomas James Muscatello, August 18, 1979 – January 2, 2023) was an American commentator on the British royal family. In 2012 he founded the British Monarchist Society, an organization that supports the monarchy of the United Kingdom. He was interviewed as a supporter of the British monarchy in both domestic and international media including BBC Radio, The Economist, Voice of America, Europe 1, SRG SSR, Comedy Central and NTV Russia. Pauline Elizabeth Latham, (born 4 February 1948) is a British Conservative Party politician, who was elected at the 2010 general election as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Mid Derbyshire. Marco Andrea Longhi (born 22 April 1967) is a British property entrepreneur and Conservative Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Dudley North since 2019. Early life Longhi grew up in Rome, the son of an Italian airline worker. He trained as a pilot and later studied at Manchester University, following this by working for a time in civil engineering. He then worked in the oil and gas industry, which included five years in South America.
