Brita Rosladin
Brita Rosladin (1626–1675) was a politically influential Swedish noblewoman. She is known for her supplicant activity which she managed through her contacts and marriage to the Lord High Treasurer of Sweden, . She was the daughter of and Christina Posse. She married Sten Nilsson Bielke in 1655, and became the mother of Ture Stensson Bielke. Brita Rosladin was considered greatly influential within the political elite in Sweden of her day and was known to be a person to whom supplicants could turn to in issues which required help from the highest officials of the realm.Norrhem, Svante (2007). Lord High Treasurer Of Sweden
The Lord High Treasurer (Swedish: ''Riksskattmästare'') was a highly prominent member of the Swedish Privy Council between 1602 and 1684, excluding periods when the office was out of use. The Lord High Treasurer was head of the ''Kammarkollegium'' and, from 1634, one of five Great Officers of the Realm. Origin A "Master of the Chamber" (''kammarmästare'') or chamberlain, with the responsibility to supervise issues concerning the economy of the state, is mentioned as early as the beginning of the 14th century. During Gustav Vasa's time as king (1523–1560), the title was called ''överste räknemästare'' as well, and the office holder was head of the chamber (''kammaren''), which was the first central bureau of Sweden. Lorenzo Magalotti
Lorenzo Magalotti (24 October 1637 – 2 March 1712) was an Italian philosopher, author, diplomat and poet. Magalotti was born in Rome into an aristocratic family, the son of Ottavio Magalotti, Prefect of the Pontifical Mail: his uncle Lorenzo Magalotti was a member of the Roman Curia. His cousin Filippo was rector at University of Pisa. The Jesuit Magalotti became the secretary of the Accademia del cimento and a ''gazetteer of the sciences''. Magalotti started off as one of the most ardent followers of Galileo Galilei but was increasingly distressed by the personal rivalries among the individual members, which constantly undermined the academy's dedication to collective research. Gradually, Magalotti lost interest in science. He became a traveller, an ambassador, and ended up as a poet. Maria Euphrosyne of Zweibrücken (14 February 1625 – 24 October 1687) was a countess palatine, a cousin and foster-sibling of Queen Christina of Sweden, and a sister of King Charles X of Sweden. She was also, after the accession of her brother Charles X on the throne (1654), a titular Royal Princess of Sweden. Biography Early life Maria Euphrosyne was born at Stegeborg Castle, Östergötland, to Count Palatine John Casimir of Zweibrücken and Princess Catherine of Sweden. Catharina Wallenstedt, née ''Wallia'' (1627 – 1719) was a Swedish letter writer and courtier. She is known for her collection of letters.
