	Brita Granström Brita Granström (born 1969) is a Swedish artist who graduated from Konstfack Stockholm in 1994 and now lives and works between Great Britain and her homeland as a painter and illustrator. Painting In 2011 Granström's self-portrait ''Mother of Four'' was bought by The Ruth Borchard Collection. A major solo exhibition ''Life in Landscape'' opened in London at Kings Place Gallery and toured to The University Gallery in Newcastle in 2012 under the title ''A Breath of Fresh Air''. Recent exhibitions include ''The Night Swimmer'' (2014) at The University Gallery, Newcastle upon Tyne and ''Sea Salt & Sourdough'' (2015) at The Open Eye Gallery Edinburgh. 	Konstfack Konstfack, or University of Arts, Crafts and Design, is a university college for higher education in the area of art, crafts and design in Stockholm, Sweden. History Konstfack has had several different names since it was founded in 1844 by the ethnologist and artist Nils Månsson Mandelgren as a part-time art school for artisans, under the name "Söndags-Rit-skola för Handtverkare" ("Sunday Drawing School for Artisans"). 	Ruth Borchard Ruth Borchard (1910–2000) was a British writer who created a collection of self-portraits made by 100 modern British artists, the Ruth Borchard Collection. A notable work of Borchard's was '' John Stuart Mill: the Man''. Early and personal life Borchard was a cousin of Deborah Layton, survivor and author of '' Seductive Poison: A Jonestown Survivor's Story of Life and Death in the Peoples Temple.'' He first attended Bradford College, then studied graphic design at the University of Northumbria and later Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art, where his tutors included John Norris Wood, Quentin Blake, and Sheila Robinson. In 1990 he devised and ran the BA honours Illustration option at the Glasgow School of Art as Course Leader. As an artist Manning is represented by Godfrey & Watt, and St Judes.
